About · the honest version
We're freelancers. We built this for ourselves.
BlickDrop didn't start as a startup. It started as a frustration. Every project we shipped meant juggling email threads, Dropbox links, screenshot apps, and a client who marked up a screenshot of a screenshot. Drafts went out, feedback came back in five different places, and somehow the “final” file was never actually final.
So we built the thing we kept wishing existed. One timeline per project. A real email address you can give a client so their reply just shows up where it belongs. Side-by-side option compare for “A or B?” without screenshot geometry. Annotations that survive a refresh. Lock and reveal so a deliverable stays watermarked until the work is paid for.
We use it on our own client work. It saved us enough headaches that we figured we should put it in front of other freelancers — see if it solves the same things for you. That's what closed beta is for.
If something feels broken, tell us. If something feels obvious, tell us. We don't have a roadmap drawn up by people who never delivered a logo revision. We have an inbox and the time to read it.
The teamA handful of freelancers, mostly designers and engineers, scratching the same itch from different angles. No investors, no growth playbook, no “Head of” anything. Just the people building the thing.
